Yet Another Accomplishment From The CEO of Lightyear Wireless!
On Sunday, at the Channel Partners Conference & Exp0 at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, attendees and exhibitors waited for PHONE+ Editor in Chief Khali to make a long-awaited announcement. Everyone in the room was on the edge of their seat to find out who had been named Channel Executive of the Year.
Phone+ Magazine has named J. Sherman Henderson III as Channel Executive of the Year 2009.
- “PHONE+ is proud to honor Sherm Henderson for exemplary leadership in the indirect channel,” said Mike Saxby, group publisher for PHONE+. “The votes show that he deserves recognition for supporting and furthering the success of channel partners.”
To determine the Channel Executive of the Year, PHONE+ solicited nominations and votes from channel partners. To be eligible, a nominee must have been the top person in the company’s channel operations — at the executive level of vice president or higher — at a telecom vendor (network operator/service provider/manufacturer). Channel partners were then asked to vote for the Channel Executive of the Year based on nominees’ leadership, longevity, innovation and contribution to the indirect channel. This is a very respectable honor and not easy to accomplish with an abundance of partners to have to sort through.
